Ferdinand Onyekachi Ochor is a Nigerian who holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He graduated from Michael Okpara University with second class Uppers Honors in 2017. For a period spanning over three years, he has been actively engaged in the education sector a teacher. He is the founder and president of Globalwaves Initiative, a non-profit Organization that focuses on leadership development and the achievement of sustainable global goals. Through this organization, he together with its members founded an annual mathematics competition for high school students in order to promote quality education as a fundamental step to achieving SDG 4. Ferdinand has a great experience in community development and volunteering, he is an international grant recipient of Asia Youth International Model United Nations Corporate Social Responsibility 2019, where he provided a community with clean water via a borehole construction. He is a local government Awardee in Zangon kataf LGA kaduna State as well as a titled honorary citizen of Atyap Chiefdom. He is passionate about youth development and Leadership having been a member of various leadership platforms across Africa and beyond. His passion for learning particularly in mathematics is well spoken of through his works and networks.
